  • ISA Talk - Protecting data and users everywhere - with Matt Senechal of NetSkope

The ISA Seattle Section is having this Zoom meeting discussing Cyber Security

The Security world has changed a lot in the last 2 years and 4 new truths have emerged -

    1. People are working from anywhere.
    2. We have more of a digitally-native workforce every day.
    3. Your data is everywhere.
    4. Threats are getting more sophisticated.

In this session, Matt Senechal (20+ Years of IT Security) will teach you how Netskope helps OT and IT networks understand how cloud and web services are being used, so you can enforce adaptive access controls, protect sensitive data, and restrict risky activities to support compliance with standards from the payment card industry (PCI), Federal Energy Reliability Corporation (FERC), and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).

You will also learn about Continuous Adaptive Trust. This is a state in which real-time access and policy controls adapt on an ongoing basis based on a number of contextual factors, including the user’s security hygiene, the devices they’re operating, the apps and distinct instances (i.e., personal or corporate) they’re accessing, the threats that are present, and the sensitivity of the data they’re attempting to access. No longer are we trusting, but verifying, as in the old days; we’re now verifying, then trusting.

Matt Senechal is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
