ISA Pune Section is one of the 14 Sections under the Asia Pacific District (APAC) of International Society of Automation. It has 640+ Professional and Student Affiliate Members from various segments of the Automation and Instrumentation Industry, Academia and 9 engineering colleges affiliated to it, and is one of the most vibrant and happening Sections in ISA.

ISA Pune is the proud recipient Section Excellence Award 2 years in running, 2023 and 2024! Its members have also been bestowed with Professional Volunteer Leaders of the Year Award for Gurmeet Anand (2023) and Dr. Swati Madhe (2024) and Anwesha Sen Student Leader Volunteer of the Year (2024).

ISA Pune hosts diverse events, seminars and webinars, monthly TechTalks and engagement with members and automation fraternity, and undertakes several initiatives for the Process and the Manufacturing Industries to keep connected to the latest trends in Automation Technologies.

ISA Pune Section regularly conducts Cybersecurity Certificate Training Courses as per ISA/IEC 62443 globally accepted Standard. After successful completion of IC32 + IC33 VILT in January, the next part (IC34 + IC37 VILT) is scheduled from April 14th-18th 2025. In addition, M courses (self-paced online modular courses) are available on demand anytime throughout the year at preferential rates from us. ISA Pune Section has presently 8 active ISA Student Chapters from affiliated engineering colleges in Pune, Nanded and Pravaranagar, and stays connected to students and academia though participation and sponsorship of college events, competitions, quiz shows etc. ISA Student Members have consistently bagged Scholarships from ISA, with nine students bagging ISA Foundation Scholarships Awards in 2023, and five in 2024.

ISA Pune Cybersecurity Conference & Intl. Automation Professionals' Day Celebration Sat, 26th April

ISA celebrates “International Automation Professionals Day” on 28th April to commemorate its foundation day in 1945.

On this day we recognize automation professionals around the world who advance the safety, security, and efficiency of the manufacturing/supply chain operations and critical infrastructures that all modern economies depend on - it is a day to thank them for helping us create a better world through automation.

WE at ISA Pune Section shall celebrate IAPD2025 this year with a Cybersecurity Conference & Exhibition and an Honours & Awards function on Saturday, 26th April 2025.

The conference is themed "ISA Pune OTSecure: Cybersecurity - A Must, not a Choice" will cover major aspects of OT Security, Standards, Certification, Implementation, Case Studies etc.

We are excited to have on the stage experts from domain areas, who are hands-in in the design, implementation, training, audit and other areas of Cybersecurity.

The conference will be attended by niche delegates from OT Security implementation, design, training and audit domains like such as OEMs, System Integrators, EMS/DCS/PLC/Drives /IIOT and Automation vendors in need of building OT Security into their control systems.

The event will also recognize AUTOMATION LEADERS from Pune and ISA Pune Section with a Honours and Awards function.
