His leadership at the grassroots level provided him with a strong appreciation for member needs and the importance of accessible, high‑quality technical content.
Maxym later served as District Chair (formerly District Vice President), where he collaborated with multiple sections, supported regional growth, and helped align district initiatives with ISA’s broader strategic direction. This role reinforced the value of communication, mentorship, and coordination across a diverse membership base.
From 2021 to 2024, Maxym served a three‑year term on the ISA Executive Board, contributing to governance, strategic discussions, and long‑term planning in support of ISA’s global mission. This experience gave him firsthand exposure to Board‑level fiduciary responsibilities, organizational strategy, and the collaborative leadership required to guide a global, member‑driven nonprofit.
Professionally, Maxym works at BBA as an Process Control Expert, where he contributes to technical strategy development, team leadership, and long‑term growth initiatives.
