AI and Large Language Models are becoming increasingly prevalent in the modern world and are often in the news for passing the bar exam or for bypassing Captcha security checks meant to keep out robots. What is often left out of the news is how this can be used to transform the way manufacturing production systems are designed and operated. This presentation introduces ChatGPT into a SCADA environment and explores the nuances of using a computer to write code.
