Session 1 will focus on discussing the first three practices of the book of Everyone Deserves a Great manager by Scott Miller:
- Develop a Leader’s Mindset
- Hold Regular 1-1s
- Set up Your Team to Get Results
We recommend reading the three chapters of this book prior to the discussion but it is not a requirement.
You are highly encouraged to attend the Connect Live even if you have not read the book. You are still able to participate fully without knowing the book’s information!
We will be discussing these practices, what the audience currently does and recommends, and more!
This is a career leadership discussion. So, whether you are a new leader at work or have over 30 years’ experience as a leader in your workplace – this session is for YOU!
If you are not a leader yet in your career, you are still encouraged to join us as you have likely seen effective or ineffective leadership in your life that you can discuss! You can also come to listen and learn! This session is for YOU too!
