Title:
What Lessons Should Industrial Asset Operators Learn from the CrowdStrike Failure?
The CrowdStrike failure on July 19, 2024, caused global outages, delays, and shutdowns—all as a result of a faulty patch that was auto-deployed across Windows IT systems. In this presentation, the founders of Fortress Labs, in partnership with TAQUEIN AUTOMATION, will delve into the various lessons that industrial operators and cybersecurity professionals can learn from the CrowdStrike disaster. Even though the vast majority of industrial systems were not affected by the event, there are significant implications—and critical lessons—for industrial organizations vis-a-vis cyber resilience, disaster recovery, vulnerability management, and infrastructure isolation that cannot be ignored. The presentation will be followed by Q&A and open discussion.
Presented by
