Welcome to the ISA Saudi Arabia Section community page. ISA Saudi Arabia Section provides a wide array of services to the local automation community including ISA/IEC accredited training courses on a diverse array of subjects.
 
The ISA Saudi Arabia Section is the largest ISA Section in the Middle-East regional section founded back in 1980. It is under the ISA District-12 with approximately 1,000 members throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Section serves its members by providing continuous education through our monthly meetings, instruction lead training classes, facilitating at Jubail Industrial College and ISA KFUPM Student Chapter, hosting networking events and furnishing student scholarships for those who are studying to join the automation industry. ISA founded in 1945 it is a nonprofit professional association that sets the standard for those who apply engineering and technology to improve the management, safety, and cybersecurity of modern automation and control systems used across industry and critical infrastructure.

  • ISA SAS October in-Person Seminar

    The Saudi Arabian Section of ISA (ISA-SAS) in collaboration with MSA - The Safety Company
    invites you to join us at the upcoming live, in-person technical seminar titeled "Fire & Gas Mapping".


    The seminar focuses on the performance-based determination of the optimal number of detectors and their locations required to appropriately address the risk associated with fire hazards along with the hazards of combustible and toxic gases. The seminar is based around the technical report ISA TR 84.00.07 from the International Society for Automation, which is the current consensus document for these design practices.

    Mr. Ed Marszal
    Ed is President and CEO of Kenexis, based in Ohio, USA. He has over 25 years of experience in risk analysis and technical safety engineering of process industry plants, including design of Safety Instrumented Systems and Fire and Gas Systems. Ed is an ISA Fellow and former Director of the ISA Safety Division and 20-year veteran of the ISA 84 standards committee for safety instrumented systems. He is also the author of the “Safety Integrity Level”.
