Effective IACS cybersecurity begins with understanding risk in the context of real industrial operations. This webinar will provide a practical introduction to IACS risk assessment using the ISA/IEC 62443-3-2 standard approach, showing how to move from high-level concern about cyber threats to structured, defensible risk decisions.
The session will explain key concepts including system under consideration, zones and conduits, threat scenarios, consequence-based risk evaluation, target security levels, and the selection of security requirements. Practical examples will illustrate how the methodology can be applied to real industrial environments, helping participants understand not only what the standard requires, but how to use it to support safer, more reliable, and more resilient operations.
