Good Standing Requirements

It is essential you confirm you meet all of the following requirements each quarter.

  • Comply with ISA policies
  • Maintain at least 30 professional members
  • Have, at a minimum, a president and treasurer with current memberships and a board roster on file with ISA Headquarters
  • Hold a minimum of three member meetings each year (these are activities the section hosts and invite members to participate)
  • Submit an annual report by 31 July
  • Include “About us” text in HTML area on section page in ISA Connect
  • Have approved bylaws posted in the section file library in ISA Connect

Section status will be reviewed quarterly. If one or more of the above requirements are not met, a section will be deemed not in good standing. These sections forfeit benefits, including but not limited to, royalties, rebates, and consideration for Society recognition and awards for sections.

Important Due Dates and Deadlines

  • 1 January - Section Status Evaluation
  • 1 April - Section Status Evaluation
  • 15 June - Section Board Roster Form (for sections that operate from 1 July to 30 June; required for good standing)
  • 1 July - Section Status Evaluation
  • 31 July - Section Annual Report (required for good standing)
  • 1 October - Section Status Evaluation
  • 15 December - Section Board Roster Form (for sections that operate from 1 January to 31 December; required for good standing)
