ISA Hamilton is a non-profit association for automation professionals in the Hamilton, Burlington, Guelph and Golden-Horseshoe area of Southwestern Ontario, Canada. We have been an official local section of the International Society of Automation (ISA) since 1962.

We provide a wide range of services to the automation community including, dinner meetings, technical speakers, plant tours, and annual golf tournament. Many of our events are free to attend. We are active between the months of September to May each year, and take a break during the summer months.

Please browse our website to find out more about our Section and the ISA as a whole. All our events are open to both members and non-members. We do, however, invite you to become a member.

ISA Hamilton wishes you a safe and relaxing winter holiday

As the year 2023 comes to a close, ISA Hamilton would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thank you to all of you who were involved with our section activities during 2023. This past year was a year of transition. We saw several of our longtime volunteers take a break, plus we had several new volunteers join our committee. It was been fun two work with our newly grown volunteer team and to hear about new ideas and new energy.

The year 2023 was also chance to sit back, reflect and consider the next steps for our local ISA section. It was great to meet those of you who came to our June 2023 AGM and later to our Meet and Greet in Nov 2023. We encourage you to reach out to our committee in the New Year as we plan events for both our membership and the greater automation community around the Golden Horseshoe / Hamilton area.

We hope you have a relaxing time over the holidays, and are able to spend time with friends and family. We look forward to reconnecting with you in the New Year!

Event Recap: Meet and Greet (Nov 29, 2023)

ISA Hamilton members came together on Wednesday Nov 29th 2023 for a meet and greet event at East Side Mario's (119 Osler Dr Unit 1, Dundas, ON L9H 6X4). Members met with section board members over dinner to reconnect with acquaintances and meet new people.

The section board used this opportunity to ask for feedback from members, such as what they would like to see from the ISA Hamilton section in the 2024 calendar year. Potential ideas were discussed and the section board will be taking these ideas into consideration for the planning of upcoming activities. Stay tuned for more social and technical events!
