Welcome from Wilmington ISA
As president of the Wilmington Section of the International Society of Automation (ISA), I am proud to welcome you to our website!
For those of you who are not yet ISA members, I encourage you to join. For your $140 membership, ISA professional members enjoy discounts on education and certification, publications, and event registration; access and downloads of ISA Technical Library; online viewing of ISA standards, recommended practices and technical reports; subscriptions to InTech magazine and Automation.com newsletters; online viewing of ISA Transactions; access to subject matter experts, networking and leadership opportunities, local educational opportunities through ISA's geographic sections and technical divisions; discounts on ISA publications and symposia; and much more.
I encourage you to involve yourself in the various activities of the Wilmington ISA. There are many ways to be an active member: participating in section meetings; encouraging others to join ISA and participate in our activities; mentoring others in the automation profession; and participating in section committees. Please contact me at jhill@unitedelectric.com if you are interested in becoming more involved or if you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or comments about the Wilmington ISA and its activities.
Some of our Recurring Events:
Every two years we hold our Wilmington ISA Industrial Automation Show & Technical Conference. We hold our event as a service to the industrial automation community in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our conference sessions are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. This unique event for the Mid-Atlantic region allows us to fund our programs. Stay tuned for our next event this fall!
A favorite event; our Annual Shrimp Boil at Applied Control Engineering in Newark, Delaware. Enjoy great food prepared by our Shrimp Masters at North East Technical Sales while networking with industry peers and learning more about all that Wilmington ISA has to offer!
Our section offers monthly in-person technical meetings where speakers will provide industry insights and best practices. I encourage everyone to attend and learn more about what is new and unique in the automation space.
Best regards,
Kyle Hill
