2022 ISA Birmingham Section H&A Dinner and Former President's Recognition Night
The Birmingham Section of ISA – International Society of Automation will hold the annual Honors and Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Red Lobster Restaurant, on Highway 31, in Vestavia, AL. All former presidents of the ISA Birmingham Section are invited to attend as a guest of the section. There will be a social time prior to the dinner, an update on ISA today, recognition of all Former Section presidents, and the recognition of this year’s awards recipients. This has been a lot of fun in the past and should be an outstanding evening for all of us.

We will recognize the ISA Birmingham Engineer of the Year for 2021 (Meg Moore – W. G. Yates Company), the ISA Birmingham Young Engineer of the Year for 2021 (Stefanie Funk – BBP Company), and present the Gerney Mitchell Distinguished Service Award for 2021 (Patrick Joseph – Southern Company Services). One of our features will be the recognition of all the Section Former Presidents in attendance with an opportunity for some insightful remarks from these veteran sages of wisdom. Also, there will be the introduction of the new officers for 2022-2023, with the transfer of the president’s gavel from the outgoing president.
There you have it - a great night of fellowship, seeing old friends, making new friends, catching up on the latest ISA stuff, and an opportunity to protect yourself from being talked about if you are not there. You do not want to miss this outing for sure.
