Overview - CEE - Center for Energy and Environment:
Multiple engagements over the past 18 months with Lester Shen, PhD. & Director of Innovative Technologies with CEE-MN, a 501 (c)3 non-profit focused on discovery and deployment of highly effective energy solutions that strengthen the economy and improve the environment.
Les and I had a conversation last Autumn 2019 that has led to more conversations and activities in collaboration on:
- Project discovery, identification or creation in the following areas:
- Federal entities, mostly through DOE-EERE (Dept. of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy)
- State, County and Municipal entities in Minnesota
- Industrial, Commercial and Institutional entities
Currently, we've engaged with a couple other entities in forming a Consortium to address a new FOA - Funding Opportunity Announcement on Building Technologies and Safety of 1st Responders to Facility Emergencies.
