    ISA Birmingham Announces 2025 Award Recipients


    The Birmingham Section of the International Society of Automation (ISA) has announced the recipients of the 2025 Awards.  These individuals will be recognized at the Engineer’s Week Dinner on February 17, 2026, at the Harbert Center in Birmingham.  This event is sponsored and conducted by the Engineering Council of Birmingham (ECOB), which is composed of representatives of all the technical societies in the Birmingham area.
     
    The ISA Birmingham Section Honors & Awards Committee is composed of John Cover, Meg Moore, and Gerald Wilbanks.  The committee considered the recommendations and suggestions made by section members and leadership and named the following to receive the 2025 recognition.

    Engineer of the Year:  Jason Leeper – Revere Control Systems

    Young Engineer of the Year:  David Harris – Revere Control Systems

    Gerney Mitchell Outstanding Service Award:  Chuck Jones – Process Valve & Instruments

    In addition to the ECOB recognition in February, the honorees and their guests will also be the special guests of the ISA Birmingham Section and receive their awards at the annual ISA Birmingham Honors and Awards Dinner on May 12, 2026.  This event will also feature the recognition of all the former section presidents and the introduction of the officers for the 2025-2026 section year.
    Congratulations to these section members for high achievement in their chosen field of work.
