Please join the Carolina Golden Triangle Section on March 23th at 7PM as Spencer Parker with PR Electronics discusses the fundamentals of Intrinsically Safety Systems and the function of barriers as part of these systems.
This virtual meeting will focus on the definition of Intrinsic Safety (IS), how it’s used to protect instrumentation and automation equipment located in hazardous areas, the benefits of using an Intrinsic Safety design over other protection methods, and a review of some of the main standards of Intrinsic Protection as developed by IEC, International Electrotechnical Commission.
Please let me know if you plan to attend and I will send out an event link. Ken
