Hello ISA Sarnia Section Members;
On behalf of your Sarnia ISA Executive I just wanted to give you an updated message as to where your section stands at this moment.
We are into our 2020 – 2021 section year and since the area is in stage three for the virus the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club has opened up the dining room with certain virus protocols and limited attendance and we feel like we can continue as almost normal. Distancing will be the key but the plan looks good.
We will be having our executive first as a kick off and from there we will set our budget and our plan for the year. Our new executive is in place with minor changes and we are good to go. I will send out a monthly newsletter this year just to keep everyone up to date. So at this moment we have no cancellations yet but we will see going forward if we have to modify any of our plans.
I am sure that everyone is getting their membership emails from ISA but as you may have read the Council of Society Delegates will have the voting online. There will be no face to face this year. The delegate will have time to vote on the new by-law proposed changes. The Society website is about to be upgraded shortly. If you go in regular you will start to see the changes. Also one huge change is that ISA is pushing out “ISA Connect”. Here we will all belong to a community once you get to sign in and we could discuss items / topics within that community. I have already set up the Sarnia Community as I had early access but the system has not been pushed out yet to all members until the website rolls out. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for your patience throughout these troubling times but we will all get through this. I pray that you and your families have all had a safe summer and look forward to seeing you in the near future.
