  • DENVER SECTION MEMBERS - Meeting thoughts, support ideas, and your ISA benefits

    All Denver Section Members,

I know the past year has been difficult for everyone and our regular face-2-face meetings ground to a screeching halt.
But you remain members of the section and ISA and are still entitled to apply your benefits of membership.

For one, as an active ISA member you have free online access to any ISA standard, white papers, industry reports, Case Studies and articles from Automation.com publications.
The first standard you view free online as a member probably covers your annual membership cost with a simple few clicks.  That benefit alone is well worth your cost of membership, and if you view more standards in your membership year like I do for free, you have compounded your member benefit.
Login to the ISA web site, go to Standards and look for "View ISA Standards: A Member Benefit" https://www.isa.org/standards-and-publications

Note that ISA through my championship is developing training programs that can be accessed for free through something called Micro Learning Modules or MLM's.  Watch for those to be announced in the next months.
In addition I am also championing an evaluation process to allow you to select a learning path toward building competencies in one or more standards areas.  This learning path will guide you through available training resources, some free and some paid training for you to improve your career learning and enhance your career competency.

Your Denver Section officers URGENTLY need your feedback and ideas for increasing our support for your needs.  If you have any ideas for monthly engagements for our Denver members, feel free to speak up.

If you care to attend a virtual social hour, we can discuss how your section can support your needs for your industry and your profession.

Drop me a note and express your needs and thoughts.

Face-2-Face meetings are just around the corner, and if you can't make those, we will make them virtual!

Your Denver section also need nominations for new section officers to shape the Denver section functions for 2021-2022.  It is a great professional networking method and looks great on your CV.  Feel free to step up and make your mark on the next vision for our section professional support and networking.
Contact myself or any one of your 2020-2021 officers with any questions or recommendations.
I look forward to hearing your suggestions, recommendations and questions about volunteering your professional know-how to build a better world through automation.

    Cheers!
