ISA Philly
Hope the summer is treating you all well. I’m looking forward to the 2023-2024 Program Year which we plan to kick off in September – details to follow!
Is anyone in our community interested in presenting an objective program for ISA Philadelphia? Please reach out to me directly if so at jeff.blair@easterncontrols.com. Presenting is a wonderful way to network and share your knowledge with your peers and potential new clients, customers, partners and friends. You do *not* have to be from the Philadelphia area to present to ISA Philly. While we belong to ISA Philly, we pride ourselves on outreach and inclusion to bring in the best and most relevant speakers and presenters from around the globe.
We are looking for additional Board Members for 2023-2024. No experience is necessary, the existing Board and ISA full-time staff can help train you for your role. Please reach out to me if you are interested. We are in need of a Webmaster, Newsletter Editor, Assistant Program Chair and additional Board Members.
Program ideas for 2023-2024 are around the subjects of:
· Hydrogen and Carbon Capture
· Robots as Quality Control Specialists
· Digital Startup and Commissioning of Automation Projects
· Instrumentation Calibration and Verification
· Power Industry Trends – Rise of Renewables
· Plant Tour – location TBD
· Flowmeter Round Table
· Environmental Monitoring with Instrumentation
· Where do I put my gas/flame detection?
· ISA84 SIS Overview
· Cybersecurity
· Building Automation Systems
· Microbrewery Event / Master Brewers Joint Meeting
