Element Analytics started as a project at OSISoft 6 years ago to solve the challenge of data management and bridge the gap between OSISoft PI and Asset Framework and getting to analytics using 100% of an enterprise's asset data.
We spun out as our own company and Element Unify (product) is an enterprise software that plugs into existing IT infrastructure to bring together OT and IT asset data and metadata. Unify automatically integrates, standardizes and contextualizes data sets (examples include real-time data, maintenance data, lab information, safety information, P&IDs/CAD drawings, and spreadsheets) to create persistent, open data models for any consuming applications (examples include PI Asset Framework, Data Lakes, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Industrial Internet of Things Platforms). Arun Thiagarajan joined us last year from TIBCO as our Director of Sales Engineering with a 25+ year career in Industrial Analytics and will be giving the demo on April 9th. In our demo, we will give an overview of the company and showcase:
- Connecting to PI, SAP (Maintenance System), and other data sets including the ones listed above
- Integrating, Cleansing, Standardizing the data, and tie it to templates (reusable for Asset Framework)
- Pivot and contextualize the data into multiple hierarchies to support any use case
- Example use cases accessing the models in Asset Framework, PowerBI (Business Intelligence), AWS Sitewise (Industrial Internet of Things Platform), and Excel
