The Potential Failure to Functional Failure Curve (P-F Curve) is used to describe the degradation of industrial equipment over time and usage. The curve has also been used to compare maintenance strategies, equipment failure modes and sensors, and set expectations for remaining useful life and failure mitigating costs.
