Cris Hehner Bio:

Born and raised on small farm in Nebraska

Graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with BSChE in 1976

Started work for Monsanto in 1975. Worked in the fibers division and the electronics division until 1989. While working for the electronics division I spent time working in plants in Malaysia, Japan and Korea. In 1989 Monsanto Electronics was sold to Huels which formed MEMC. I worked for MEMC in the St. Peters plant until 1990.

In 1990 I changed jobs and began working for Mallinckrodt.  My first job assignment at Mallinckrodt was their Chesterfield UK plant for 2 years. After that I spent 2 years working on projects at the Raleigh APAP plant then several years on projects at the Greenville COMPAP plant. Also did several major projects in the St. Louis Plant during that time.

The last 6 years at Mallinckrodt was spent working on and documenting relief devices for pressure vessels and combustible dust systems. Also wrote several of the Mallinckrodt safety standards.

Cris retired in April of this year after 46 years.
