As the new director of the Power Industries Division (POWID), I’m Don Labbe, and I also served 14 years ago. Fortunately, the very talented and dedicated engineer Xinsheng Lou is serving as Director-elect. I must admit, the role of Director has changed so much in 14 years, but with your support we’ll try to serve the POWID community well.
First Xinsheng and I would like to thank Josh Long for his service as POWID Director and many other roles for the COVID years. Josh is now the I&S department VP and acting A&T department VP by virtue of his outstanding leadership skills.
Next, we wanted to encourage our POWID members to promote the ISA Division Scholarships to college students internationally. Applications for scholarships are open through February 28.
