PID Control and Tuning

On Wednesday, November 20th at 12:00 PM, 
the ISA Columbus Section is hosting a virtual 
event.

Matt Petras, Senior Controls Application 
Engineer at ControlSoft will be presenting on 
PID Control and Tuning. You will learn the basics 
of process control, closed loop control, what PID 
is, and types of PID.

Matt received his B.S. degree in Electrical 
Engineering from the University of Akron. As a 
senior controls application engineer at 
ControlSoft, Matt’s project experience includes 
PID loop tuning, control loop performance 
monitoring, model predictive control 
applications, and exposure to a multitude of 
different control systems.
