Description

The Smart Manufacturing and Industrial IOT Division welcomes you to our July Connect Live on Wednesday July 28th at 10:00 am EST

Our speaker will be Dr. Nikunj Mehta, Founder & CEO Falkonry

If AI were to be the next big thing for manufacturing it certainly has to be applied at scale. While AI as a concept has the allure of disruption, it is generally not clear how it can be scaled. There are two areas where scale is achievable - object classification from visual and thermal images, and temporal classification from input and output parameters.

Just as statistical process control and golden batches have scaled in industrial operations, patterns in multivariate operational data are inherently well suited to scale. So how do you understand patterns in time domain and frequency domain especially when very little guidance is available?

Join this session to learn how Falkonry enables organizations to apply AI at scale by reducing industrial operations to time series patterns at both discrete and composite levels without requiring up front supervision.

Two used cases will be discussed from the Steel and Pharma domain.

Our event will be held on Zoom at:

Nikunj founded Falkonry after realizing that valuable operational data produced in industrial infrastructure goes mostly unutilized in the energy, manufacturing & transportation sectors. Nikunj believes hard business problems can be solved by combining machine learning, user-oriented design & partnerships.

Prior to Falkonry, Nikunj led software architecture & customer success for C3 IoT. Earlier, he led innovation teams at Oracle focused on database technology & led the creation of the Indexed DB standard for databases embedded inside all modern browsers. He holds both Masters & Ph. D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He has contributed to standards at both W3C and IETF and is also a member of the ACM.
