We are excited to have Rick Hanner, CFSE, of aeSolutions presenting our June Technical Meeting Topic as a Learn at Lunch.

The presentation will explore several causes and common components that result in systematic failures of Instrumented Protective Layers (IPL) employed to reduce process risk.  The intent is to increase awareness of a facet of SIS Engineering that is no less important than the Safety Lifecycle documentation, equipment failure rate data, and device selection.
