This includes municipal drinking water, wastewater and stormwater applications.

Please visit our WWID Division website at www.isawaterwastewater.com

Our members include a wide range of professionals from municipalities, water utilities, sewerage districts, consultants, engineering firms, system integrators, construction firms, software vendors, distributors, and equipment manufacturers. The division maintains close ties with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Water Environment Federation (WEF) to service the needs of automation professionals who work in the municipal water sector.

Membership in the ISA Water/Wastewater Division is open to any ISA member who has an interest in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of automation systems and related equipment in the water sector.  We have members from all over the world. Many leading members of the WWID are also involved the many facets of ISA including ISA standards, ISA conferences, and ISA publications, as well as being involved with other industry technical committees.

We invite you to get involved with the WWID. Contact us for more information at www.isawaterwastewater.com/committee/

Announcements

  • MOU executed between ISA WWID and AWWA

I am happy to let you all know that we have successfully executed a memorandum of understanding between ISA WWID and AWWA for the Jun 2023 annual water conference (ACE23) - Toronto, Canada.

With this MOU, ISA WWID and AWWA are able to provide mutual benefits to one another, as it relates to the conference's program.

This continued collaboration with AWWA allows us at WWID to understand the current challenges and trends with our Water industry. And this awareness allows us analyze and come up with the best automation solutions/best practices for our industry.

I take this opportunity to thank AWWA for all the support over the years. We look forward to another successful partnership this year!

  • Sad News about Joe Provenzano

    Dear WWID Friends,
It is with heavy heart that I share the news that our dear friend Joe Provenzano is no longer with us.   Joe, one of long-time volunteer leaders in our ISA water/wastewater division, passed away in his home in Naugatuck, Connecticut on Sept 28, 2022.   Joe had been involved with ISA for more than 50 years, and was for many years the program chair of our water/wastewater division and  ISA water/wastewater and automatic controls symposium.  Joe was a receipent of the ISA's society-level Enduring Service award in 2021. A biography of Joe and his many contributions to ISA will be posted shortly.  An obituary is available: Obituary | Joseph T. Provenzano of Southbury, Connecticut | Chase Parkway Memorial.   Thanks Joe for all the fun times and your many contributions - you will be missed.
